HOW TO REACH THE LORD
Thakur Haranath revealed: I am only an insignificant fruit of
the Krishna tree and shall soon dry even if you place this fruit on a golden
throne. But I shall remain alive if you love that tree more and more and
venerate it with all your life. This is an age of spontaneous love. Now is
the time of causeless mercy. With my every breath do I remember all of you. I am and shall remain yours. If you want to make
Him who regulates the universe your very own take complete refuge in my Nityananda.
I cannot live even a single moment without sending thoughts after you. I
will come again and again to this world with love of Krishna at heart. We will
be together in the same way. In changed scenes shall we commence a new play. My
play is without beginning or end, it is eternal. I am always with you, it is
impossible to say how dear you are to me. You are my body and my
life in it. You are my constant companions, this company I wish in my every
incarnation. You are my fathers, brothers, playmates. Without you I am nothing,
I cannot rest without you. Think of me as your own and I shall be highly
satisfied. Don’t forsake or forget me!
My mission is to unite the whole world’s creation into one body and to
make them all sing the Lord’s sweet glory in one voice.Let all inhabitants of
the world be sons and daughters of one
Mother and Father and remain in supreme bliss. Let all races in the world be
united and form one family. May the
Lord’s Name be resounded in every centre of the world and be victorious
everywhere. Lord Haranath told us that He is always calling us, singing our
name on His Bansari .
To understand the Lord’s play we have to rise above our bodies and
intellect, go to the plane of the heart – the plane of Love. Let us always remember
that we don’t exist for our own sake but for His sake, and that the Lord is the
Jivatma in as much as Paramatma The most
sublime religion is the uninterrupted flow of the mind and heart towards the
Lord. Ever keep the mind poised in the Self, wide-awake in the current of reality where the
unfathomable is ever revealed in his infinity. With great intensity this has to
be our constant endeavor. Self-effort is only possible through divine grace.
The Lord’s grace flows down on us unceasingly at all times, for can we
live without Him? Where is the place where He is not?The greater the
difficulties, obstructions, and the more intense our endeavor to cling to His
Lotosfeet, the more will be given power-
increase from within .A pure-hearted Bhakta sees the Lord everywhere pervading the
universe and himself just as the Akasa – untrammeled, unhindered.*Contemplate
the divine Indweller in every human heart , realize that there is nothing but
Paramatman. Endear Him firmly to the
heart, REPEAT His sweet Name unremittingly. He has made His Name of such
potency that constant repetition of it purges the Jivas of all sins, unloosens
all Karma-bindings and facilitates their return journey to Him. All 24 hours should be spent in quest for
God. The desire to find Him has to be specially fostered, accompanied by
yearning and crying for Him. Strive to be always aware of God’s presence. When
we behold Him everywhere then no feelings of otherness can come up, our whole
life becomes an act of worship, a form of prayer, a song of praise. You behold
the supreme light shining even in a blade of grass. Make Him your constant eternal companion. Because He is out of sight never send Him out of mind but keep the mind fixed at His
Lotosfeet , even when asleep. Make His lovely features ornaments of your heart
and quicken the tongue so that it takes His Name
unremittingly during waking and sleeping hours. Make the Name firmly enter the
heart or the ear labyrinth and have the mind and heart adorned with adamant
faith. Lord Gouranga used to sing the Name very loud so that all in the
creation, all that move and move not can hear it. Ever think
of His countless plays, adhere to Him to whom you have offered your
heart. Make Him the centre of your love, your sole refuge. Live for Him, work
for Him alone. Feel “ I do what you make me do, I speak what you want to speak
through me, I dress well for your delight, care for the body which is your
property, taking your own Name.” Proceed with eyes and ears shut against the
world. Let us be reminded that the sole purpose of our life is to lose all sense
of separate personality and be dissolved in the Lord like camphor in fire. May
we through His grace satisfy Him by playing our roles as He desires and be considered as one
of His own people.
This life is not our own
but His and has to be protected
carefully . An egoless mind will be full of love, works will be
performed without expectation of fruits - a real offering to the Lord. Ceaseless effort, striving,
spiritual practice will undoubtedly unite with Him. If He is pleased there
remains absolutely nothing that cannot be achieved. Aiming at the highest hold
your course and attend to your work totally unconcerned with the results. Such
a one ignores the ridicule of friends and relatives but worships every being
seeing the Lord in all.
When Prema awakens the Lord draws the soul to Him like a magnet. If you
want to move Him to tears shed first tears of love for Him. Having true love in
the heart He is no longer considered as God but as the most intimate, most dearly beloved , without Him one cannot live .Whomsoever He has accepted He won’t leave, even when asked to go. The
joy that state affords is beyond description. One is no more conscious of the
external world, laughs, weeps, cries, sings aloud, dances through the excess of
joy he gets. May we come back in a succession of lives as one of His own people.
